I feel that most questions on here ( at least the ones that I end up answering) are addressed to people with opposite views and opinions ..you know " TO christians.." when you're atheist, or " To liberals..." when conservative and so on....
So basically I happen to always disagree with the questionner since I have the opposite view, which means the chance of getting picked as best answer is slim to none...
I rarely reply to the ones I agree with because it wouldn't be an answer but a validation..
Should I just start agreeing with everybody so I can get the coveted 10 pts rather than the 2?

you make a good point, but also therein is your answer.
why bother with esoteric blogging crap that will at best leave you miserably insane?
have fun with it OK?
if you don't know what to ask or answer then just stick to domestic stuff if you feel you must input here.
please. the last thing this website needs is another moron with a fantastical opinion about how to save the world from human beings etc.
stick to normal things like 'how do I dice onions without crying?' stuff and youll have your coveted rating on a 2nd rate 3rd party blogging profile in good standing soon enough!

10 points are nice, but don't compromise what you feel. And what's wrong with validation? Don't you appreciate it when someone validates your point of view? Go ahead, I'm sure a lot of people would appreciate your support.

And also, one of my comments on another of your questions was directed at another answer that was given and not at you. I did not make that clear, and it did read as if I was putting words in your mouth. I want you to know that was not what I intended and I am very sorry.

Strangely, he seems to have withdrawn his answer. I guess I got him!!

This totally depends on what you want to get out of this site. It is for your entertainment, so you should think about how you feel about it. If you have fun by racking up a lot of points, then of course you should stop sabatoging yourself. If you like for people with opposing opinions to hear what you have to say, keep doing what you are doing. However, in my humble opinion, those people aren't going to be persuaded by other's views. They just want to rant about their own opinion and they aren't really looking for an "answer" or to be enlightened. I avoid those questions entirely because I know they are not genuine. But it is up to you. You are here to have fun!

everyone to their own opinion said the farmer when he kissed his cow. there are always going to be those with whom you disagree as no two ( or more ) people are ever going to agree on anything or everything. variety is the spice of life. whenever we answer questions honestly we are expressing our own opinions about the subject. we are trying to teach as well as learn through exchange of ideas which will lead to further wisdom and knowledge.

Depends on what you see as valuable. Truth or nonsense like points.

If your truth is less valuable to you than worthless points then the answer is yes.

Somehow I doubt if this is the case.
