My female budgie (Holly) had 7 eggs.
Her first clutch.
All 7 hatched.
With her first hatchling Holly's pushed the baby toward me, to show what she had. So I picked the chick up to see if it was ok.
Then she picked the baby up from my hand by the leg and put it back in the nest box.
That was sweet.
All 7 chicks are ok. Yellow x2, Green x2 Grey & Blue x2
She is a great mum.

My mother has a lab mix and he grins at you. Damndest thing I ever seen....grinning and wagging his tail. It's not a threatening gesture either because he only grins at people in the family that he knows and trusts. I think maybe someone grinned at him when he was little and he is imitating it. Yes, I know that dogs aren't supposed to be able to imitate human behavior but this is really uncanny. Mum calls him Smiley.

Yeah. We had fish when I was younger. We would feed them little itty bitty pieces of bread. Well, eventually, my cat caught on and she would bite of a small chunk of bread, climb up to the fish tank, and drop it in. Then, she would wait for the fish to come up and she'd eat them. It was kind of funny. She ate two or three fish and then became tired of it. So, it wasn't like she ate all the fish in the tank.

I have one real interesting one. Our horses were in the trailer and we were going down the road and the truck and trailer start to shift around a lot. It happened to be my mom's horse and our neighbor's horse jumped over the other 2 horses and started to fight. Mine fell down and got stepped on. Our neighbor's horse fell down and somehow my horse got on her and was sitting on her. I thought they were both dead. They were ok they just got scuffed up real bad.
