Heights - I can't look down out of the window if I'm high up in a very tall building and I wouldn't do a parachute jump if you gave me a milion pounds.
Flying - I have done it but I hate it, only a stiff gin and tonic beforehand will get me through! Then, I spend the rest of the holiday worrying about the flight home.
The dark and enclosed spaces. Especially being buried alive - many have tried, unsuccessfully, to convince me that in this day and age it doesn't happen but I have nevertheless stipulated that I want to be embalmed when I die.
Being trapped in a burning building.
I used to be spider phobic - but I'm delighted to say that, after two years in the late 1990s living in a spider infested house, I can confirm that the technique of flooding used in behavioural psychology does work!

Spiders, definitely. I hate the creepy crawly nasty things.
Also, and this doesn't really count as a phobia, but I am a worst-case-scenario person. Given any situation, I immediately picture the absolutely worst, most horrifying thing that could happen. And always without cause.

someone kidnapping my kids- but thats more of just a general fear; i have a phobia of the unknown, of not knowing a little bit about what is coming up in my life; social workers; i used to have a fear of the country bears at Disneyland and the birds in the Tiki Room too; aliens; the dark- as a child and even a teen; sharks- even though i am an avid surfer and snorkeler, i will not watch jaws as a result; scary movies but only Freddie and Jason movies- because of my older brother tormenting me mostly

I have a phobia against people who are afraid of heights. Have you ever tried to ride an elevator with one of them? Scary trip.

I don't have any phobias, thankfully. Phobias are highly treatable though with Systematic Desensitization (a Behavioral Psychology technique). Though it is better to seek out a professional counselor or psychologist that specializes in it, some people have had results in reducing their anxiety simply with a self-technique.
