Wiring a coaxial extension for an aerial - The Best Way?

I need to wire an extension for my ariel but it keeps being "wonky" what is the best way to do it

You could buy an extension lead from most electrical or hardware shops and they are not very expensive.......

Wonky??? What sort of description is that!

Get a co-ax plug and a line socket, fit to either end of suiable co-ax cable , plug in both ends. Bingo.
