The institutions and governments of today rule by fear and guilt. Most of us are blind or too afraid to stick our necks out. Risk is feared. Is it not true that throughout history, the men that are remembered were the ones that took the spirit and essence of life in their hands and molded adventures, dreams, conquests, revolutions, legends, and happiness? People are often afraid to break out of their comfort shells because it is so much easier to pass time than change it. Before we destroy ourselves through ignorace, arrogance, lust, and pride, we must learn to open our eyes, our hearts, and our minds. Men of evil exist, men that rise to positions of power and use it towards their own ends, rather than for the benefit of Man. We must free ourselves from their plans and traps and try to see things for what they really are. Do drugs.

fear is a safeguard and a motivator...

for instance, i know from experience, that if i put my hand on the stove, i will burn my hand... fear of being hurt keeps me from doing that...

on the other hand, i know that if i don't go to work, i could lose my job.. so my fear of financial insecurity motivates me to get up and go in anyway..

we have the free will to do anything we'd like... as long as we are willing to accept the consequences.. even if i feel like killing someone today, i won't because i don't want to live the rest of my life in prison... but maybe i am willing to accept the consequences of some minor bad behavior, like staying out a little too late...

consequences are a natural happening.. if we were truly fearless, we would be getting hurt, losing our jobs, going to prison, and yes, chaos would rule...

my hope is that my fears are reasonable, that i am not ruled by unhealthy fears that stop me from feeling free and living as i wish to live... unafraid to dance in the rain...

Not when we are free to choose within the context of truth and righteousness. Not when we choose truth and do not have things imposed on us.

the truth is not what you make of it or want it to be. That is why people are so confused. It is something very precise and steadfast. It is what everything else, laws included, are derived from. If you do not grasp truth, you grasp nothing; you don't get it. You have no foundation from which to form your beliefs and base your decisions.

Even Plato had trouble with this one, and never answered the question fully to hiw own satisfaction.

To define and answer this question "What is truth?" and to define purpose and meaning, read the "Essay" from the links below, then read "Finding Truth."

Just to see how far from the truth the general is, read the short article called Supreme Law found on the Home Page here:

Yep. Total fearlessness would mean we would expose ourselves to unnecessary danger, thus risking removing ourselves from the gene pool, which we are programmed to believe to be a very bad idea.

If we were totally fearless, the situation will be beyond anybody's control and the concept of "weak and strong", "haves and havenots" will have no meaning at all.

yes, they are. we were born free, but society puts chains on us. we are restricted from doing what we want every single day. but the world would be in chaos if everyone did what they wanted.so, this is a safer option.....
