posted question 'pregnancy or menpause' a while ago, had blood test done yesterday negative result, still feel pregnant, husband & sis says I look bloated. I have missed 2 periods but have very dull pains in tummy every day, two days ago started having very sensitive nipples which have raised bumps surrounding them (more prominant than usual), according to my periods I could be 7-8 weeks pregnant, I have felt pregnant for at least 4 weeks. Is it possible I could still be pregnant even with negative blood test? The last time I told my Dr I felt pregnant I was laughed at and told 'youre not dont be silly', I was 6 weeks later rushed to hospital had ectopic, had tube removed. The pains I feel are nothing like that, more of a mild period pain. I will go back to Dr next week but would like to know what you all think please.

Hi I would keep going to the doctors until you get a result. This also happened to me, i was pregnant, but still had my periods all the way through the pregnancy. I had a beautiful boy, but he had a little health issues nothing to serious, but enough to make you worry. Don't let the doctor make you feel silly there only human just cause they have a bit of education they think they no it all but they don't, they proved that to me time and time again. I now use a medical book and tell them whats wrong. Glad i did as it turned out i had a hole on my bladder i was told it was just my age and the pain in my back was a stretched muscle but it wasn't it was pain in my kidney.

Could be anything from ectopic, to a normal pregnancy that hasn't been detected by their tests, to a phantom pregnancy as someone else suggested, to ovarian or uterine cancer (which can cause these types of body responses, including the bloating). I'd seek the advice of another doctor. Good luck

I'm not a dr so can't tell you if you are or aren't, but it seems to me you've not had a good experience with your dr but please don't let that put you off and make sure that you go as soon as possible, because whatever is going on and in view of your previous eptopic pregnancy you really need to get yourself to a dr asap. If you want a baby I really hope that you are pregnant and that everything works out for you. Best of luck.

I would try for a second opinion because as you know an ectopic can be dangerous.Have you done any home tests. On the other hand I have known people have these signs that you mention, not being pregnant and being perfectly alright but its not worth messing about with.See someone again.

either you are pregnant in that congrats!! or your having a phantom pregnancy which happend to alot of people except their too embrassed to talk about it. its when the body thinks its pregnant therefore you get all the same symptoms like morning sickness, bloating etc but the only diffrence is there is no Baby
i'd advise you to go and see your doctor (make sure they dont laugh at you this time) as its ok to ask questions in life if you dont ask you wont know
good luck

Sometimes blood tests come out wrong sweetie or it could be that your body is stressed and built up by having had no periods for 2 months which could explain why you are bloated. I missed two months of periods and was convinced I was pregs but I wasn't it was where I was stressed trying to get pregs!!!

Change your doctor if this one is laughing at you he can't be much good, If you are pregnant make sure that this doctor has nothing to do with you, he has already endangered your life when you had ectopic pregnancy. Good luck hope all goes well

i would ask to schedule an ultrasound. the pain and "bloating" could be a cyst. i once had one the size of a grape fruit. also i have had a negitive blood test when i was postively pregnant. so, while your there tell them it wount hurt your feelings to repeat the test. i hope its a pregnancy not a cyst.
