'maxmotives' will max out your motives but if you want them to stay maxed all the time then you need to also use 'motivedecay off', When I have something specific I want to accomplish and don't want to mess with fulfilling needs I first use maxmotives to make sure they're at their best in all, then I open the cheat window again and use motivedecay off. Another I use if I'm using an aspiration reward (since they require gold or higher aspiration) I use 'aspirationlevel 5', this puts them at platinum, and if I'm using the item for an extended period (say to increase a skill) then I'll use the cheat window again and use 'lockaspiration on'

My most favorite site for Sims2 cheats is http://visualparadox.com/sims/cheats.htm while not perfect I find it to be the easiest to understand & its broken down by what cheats are available for each exp. up to Nightlife, plus they have some nice tips and ideas too.

I know some cheats for the Sims 2...good ones, I just don't get your question, what kind of cheat are you looking for? (When you're in your map of the city you want, you press Ctrl+C+Enter, then you type boolprop testincheatsenabled true and then you press Enter) after you did that you choose a family and from then on you can move the little bars with their needs how you want, higher, lower...whatever. I hope this is what you meant.

Alright sorry, little mistake, my bad it's been a while :) when you entered the cheat code you press Escape and not enter and then you go to your chosen family...sorry I just thought of it and came right here to set things straight lol

Type in the cheat code maxMotives... Just bear in mind this cheat code only works if you have the Nightlife expansion pack. If you don't have Nightlife, there's a cheat using "Boolprop testingcheatsenabled true", but I would be very careful with this one as if not used carefully it can really mess up your game.

Type in "boolProp TestingCheatsEnabled true" in the cheat menu. Then you will be able to do tons of cool, wackey stuff in the game. (To find out what it does, go to gamefaqs.com or look up a tutorial on the cheat at thesims2.com, under Exchange: Stories)

Yes, it's "MaxMotives" in the cheat window you'll love this cheat I use it all the time.
