You will have to make affidavits before a Notary Public, a government approved lawyer, and then you will have to publish in a well-circulated newspaper.
Along with this affidavit and paper publication, you will have to submit it concern authorities, school, board, city corporation and as per requirement.
Looks huge task, but name is the question, which you will carry up to end and other will use more! Good luck.

I champion anyone who changes their name, I have no idea how to do it in India, I am in the US, but so many people live their lives with names they don't like or which are embarassing, and they just don't take the initiative. I would suggest waiting until youare older, your opinion about much in life changes with years, you begin to seee so much more.

A lot of entertainers go by a different name .In the USA Kid Rock's real name is Robert but we all know him as Kid Rock. when he does anything legal he has to sign his legal name.
You might want to do something like that. Sort of to make sure you want to make the change. Until you can change it throught the court. As long as your parents are ok with you using a different spelling until you can go to court to change it.

You have to be a major for that. Or else your parents can do it. It is to be published in the State Gazatte and after that in the local newspapers also.
