I took a music course in college where we "explored" all the music through 1900's-now, so we had to listen to music from buddy holly, (young)little Richie, Elvis and so forth. I thought it was great because a lot of people forgot how great old music is.

Well, as a mexican, I can say we love oldies. But not the "Happy Days" kind. We like the more soulful, love songs that you hear in L.A. parks on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon. Music by Malo or War, The Stylistics, The Supremes, stuff like that.

I do as well as my 8 and 12 yo dd and ds! We have XM radio with DirectTV...you just never know what will be played and/or enjoyed in this house from 40's-200's, classical-heavy metal rock and they LOVE the 80's.

I also loves to listem to them also. I like beatles, bread, kenny rogers, and old rock n roll like deep purple, led zeppelin, queen.
Hey they sound great, I dont care if they are oldies, so what ,they are nice to hear, even more nicer than todays band.
