I think it's great. As a teen I was surrounded by peers who acted as if being a virgin was a disease. I soon began to feel the same not really understanding, why? But my better judgment prevailed, at least for a while. I stayed a virgin until I was 25. That was 10 yrs. ago. And to tell the truth, I wasn't missing anything. Needless to say, @ 35 I wish I still was a virgin. As a virgin, I literally started to feel that I was special. Not many people my age or younger for that matter could have said this. With that in mind, I relished in the thought that I made it through each year having held on to my virtue. I sure do miss it. Tell ur friend to hold on to theirs for as long as possible, there's no rush. We sometimes tend to give away things without realizing it's importance/value, until after it's gone. Maybe he/she will find someone special to give it to,and unlike myself and most other people, won't regret it.

I don't think there is anything wrong with being a virgin at 20. I didn't lose mine until 26. But for a guy, it might seem odd because a lot of guys lose it earlier and he may be ridiculed by his friends for it. But for the girl he goes out with, I think she would like to know he is a virgin. This would tell her that he is "safe" and likely won't get anything from him and that he doesn't sleep around.
Tell your friend (or yourself:)!!) that it is prefectly fine and don't let anybody bother him about it. He should stand up for it and not rush to change it. Just wait for the right girl to come along and it will feel right then too.
Now if he is staring in the next 40 Year Old Virgin movie, then he may want to start investigating why he hasn't lost it yet.

No - nothing wrong with that at all. I went through the war years and was still a virgin when I married at 27. As a Christian I thought that was right, and in retrospect I find it was, because it cemented a sound foundation with my (similarly virgin) wife of 25.
But, I'm human, and somehow I can't stop myself envying those living in today's free society.

Im a 38 year old virgin, and funnily enough cant say im proud of it because of the pressure of todays society. Sad or what?
Even when i went to docs recently concerning something about my periods i was 'ashamed' to say i couldnt be pregnant or have any kind of STD because i was a virgin. After i walked out of docs i thought 'no way! im me and me decides if i want to be with a men..just yet'

With all the things that are happening in this day and age I don't blame him one bit. There is nothing wrong with waiting. If I could turn back the hands of time I would have waited as well.

I think it's an advantage for someone in our days to be a virgin at 20..It's good for him to be waiting for the right person..I would admire him for this..Tell him it's not weird and that he is really special..the one he'll find will be sure lucky!! =)
