I am a novice when it comes to my PC but I understand everthing is kept on the hard drive.I need these e.mails to prove I did not make a mistake.Can anyone help please?

If you are using a mail manager such as outlook or outlook express to view your mail and you leave a copy on the servers then you can view them by going to your mail provider home page.
If how ever you are reading them at the mail home page and have sent them to trash, and then deleted trash, you will not get them back without special software

If you have already emptied the trash folder, unfortunately there's no way to retrieve it back... However, if you haven't emptied it yet,
Firstly, go to the trash folder.
Secondly, tick those e-mails you want to retrieve back.
Thirdly, if you are using yahoo! e-mail accounts, there will be a button, which shows 'Move...'. From there, click on 'Inbox', and the selected e-mails will be back in your inbox!

whatever you do DO NOT turn your computer off... look in your trash. they still should be there. If not they are lost "forever" The only way to retrieve anything deleted is with special programs (usually used by law enforcement). You are correct about information sitting resident on hard-drives (even after deleting)...

If you have emptied the Trash folder then to retrieve your deleted files you require a data recovery software. I recommend to use "Kernel FAT + NTFS" data recovery software from http://www.nucleustechnologies.com
Software is quite easy to use, and displays recoverable data before you actually purchase the software.

Left click on trash then You should get a list of items left click on the item that You want to view then You can print it out,

Depends on what your e mail server is! If you use outlook express click the deleted items folder. They will be there if you havent emptied it! If you use web based e mail such as yahoo, do the same.

you should be able to get it out of the trash .go into your mail and click on trash hope this helps
