The solenoid is not engaging the starter. Push start it!

The starter solenoid is bad.
The battery positive cable goes to it.
To double check -
Turn on the key
With a large screw driver, touch the 2 large terminals of the solenoid at the same time.
That by passes the solenoid and sends battery voltage straight to the starter motor.

1st. check all your electrical connections for cleanliness & tightness
2nd. If it continous, take the battery to a place and have it checked out, the only way. I don't care how old it is !
3rd. At this point, you need to find somebody which can do the above succussfully !

try bump starting it, do the lights work ok? could be a loose connection ,or starter not engaging

the starter motor might need cleaning where the brushs connect to it
