i loved listening to coast to coast but now there is the new guy what really happened to art?

Sure. OK, this may take a little bit of explaining.
Art comes and goes. His most recent retirement was caused by back troubles. In fact, he was also going through a bit of personal problems. His son was molested by a substitute teacher, who happened to be infected with AIDS. This put quite a strain on him, and the Las Vegas newspaper, for some reason, published his name and home address. Art had been divorced from Vicky for quite a while, and his son was living with Vicky when he was molested. After they settled the legal case with Nye County School Board, Art said he lost weight and his back was much better, and he returned to do the weekend shows.
Ian Punnett had been doing the weekend shows in Art's absence, and still does a pre-show. Tonight, Ian may do the overnight show tonight, because Art was hung up in Hong Kong, and may not make it back in time for the Saturday night show.
Art's wife Ramona died suddenly of complications from an asthma attack on January 5th of this year, shortly after Art had announced he would be returning for every weekend. He took a leave of absence from the weekend shows for a while, and announced he was taking a vacation.
He moved to Manila, Phillipines, and married Airyn(Filipinas pronounce it Irene, but he pronounces it Erin)Ruiz. Airyn is a very young woman, and for a while he posted pictures of her graduation with their wedding photos. Art is about 60 years old. He married her April 8th, a little over three months after his wife died, because he was so alone out there in the desert. Ramona was also a Filipina, but she was living in the USA with her mother when Art met her.
Art has had a bit of trouble getting the radio uplinks for the show, and occasionally misses the weekends.
Art is scheduled to do the Saturday and Sunday shows for coasttocoastam. His wiki bio is significantly wrong about a number of aspects.
Art is also involved in a project with Alex Jones, that may turn into a film. This is supposed to be a secret, so don't tell anyone I told you. The Day After Tomorrow earned Art and Whitley quite a bit of money.
George Noory is the new host, and a really nice sounding personality, but he is NOT Art Bell. I like George, but do not find his shows to be as compelling as Art's were. Plus George has had some guests that I have a personal animus against.
Art is the master of that genre of overnight show, and I have listened to several imitators. None of the imitators can work the drama like Art can. George is good, but George is different.
Addendum: Sorry that is all jumble-y, but trying to describe Art is quite difficult.
Addendum2: I believe the reason Art's wiki bio is wrong about a number of items is to protect himself and his former wives and family. That show has a few listeners that might be a little dangerous.
