actually she had cancer. but he slept by her side until she passed away.

It was very sad when his dog passed on, Sui died of old age.
I asked my son if he saw the episode and he told me it came up when he was talking to a man, about how sad he was when his pet Fox died. Steve comforted the man by understanding how he felt.
That is so like Steve.
I know we all love him and we are all going to miss him.

he stayed with it and it died in its sleep next to him. very sad
