you see them in the strangest places and wonder HOW THE HELL did someone get that here? but I know for a fact that morrisons ones you have to put in a pound to let them free from being attached and its meant to make it harder or even prevent them from being stolen. doubt it works though cos I've seen a few from there out on the streets. lol Me and some friends found one once outside our school and we were "riding in it" :p

I once called the phone number on a lost trolley to report it and the person on the other end really couldn't be a$$ed, no wonder they stay lost.

lol nice question. I went to see my dad in Florida a few months ago and the b*stards just take the trolleys home and dump them at the top of the road, there was hundreds of them!!!!!!!! tramps.... I dont think we are quite that bad in the UK

Hi,i have no idea,but my mate here in Dortmund Germany has a Tesco shopping trolley in his garden and uses it to plant flowers,he is a bit patriotic!

there are about 40 dumped in the river don near my house and i know that's just a few of those that get dumped. i have never and would never dump one myself.
