Well I think it goes , "I'd rather have a bottle in front of me than to have to have a frontal lobotomy, I make be drunk but at least I'm not insane" ....Amen to that.

I always thought that it was a bit ironic. After all, drinking DOES kill brain cells and these brain cells are NEVER replaced.
So, drinking is, in a way, a mini frontal lobotomy... ironic and a bit scary: I don't drink much ;)
