You may have an infection but to me, it sounds like you have a keloid scar. Looking at your avatar, it seems as though you have darker skin, which is more apt to getting this type of scar. I don't think there are any over the counter treatments for this type of problem, but visit your doctor, he may be able to give you opitions to get rid of it. Good luck!

ive never had a piercing there but my friend had the same sort of thing in her belly and it was a ball of puss which burst and then healed but where it is i think you should go back and see the person who pierced it for you as they are supposed to help you with problems like that. If you cant go back then go to the doctor.

usually pierce on thick area will take over than 6 month to heal. that is normal. i had the same situation with my eyebrow piercing. sooner or later the lump should shrink. if u want to take it out, make sure u clean the ring & wound hole oftenly.

i had my eyebrow pierced twice and the second time that happend i had to take it out cos there was risk of infection to my eye. id say you have an infection there so you should revert back to cleaning it twice a day for a week and if it doesnt go away either go to your doc or just take it out.

i must be a keloid...happens to some people when they get scarred...if its not...dont worry so much about it...it will be gone later.
