because they show all 'k' serials i.e. directed by ekta kapoor
some watch it as she directs all family fights,love and all kind of serials
i dont see it because its kind of boring

Well to be very honest,
Sadly in India, the most popular channel has to be "STARPLUS".
I attribute all its success to the useless soaps they air, totally senseless, repeatative and if i might add addictive to the the indian housewife.

AXN would be the most watched channel because it shows everything including series,movies ,interviews,trailors,makings,game shows,places,etc;

For the children it is cartoon network or jetix , for youths it is star world due to the sexy scenes and star plus and star one and for the old it is sanskrit

I feels all the channels r the most watched channels......
it omly depends on wat section of people u ask this question...
u ask kids... its cartoon network
u ask teens... its MTv
u ask housewives... its Star Plus
u ask people who invested money in stock markets... ifor them its .. CNBC.....
u ask fathers and Grandpas... its Aaj Tak or ne other news channel...

.
.
.
and the list continues.....
now popularity just depends... on how many people does the channel cater its service to.... or it is meant for....

i like animax.
i like to watch animes.
there's so many of them, for ex:
- kyo kara maoh
- paradise kiss
and still many more
but too bad we have to subscribe if we want to watch the channel...
