I would bend down and pick up the cigarette and dispose of it properly.

I know you asked for ladies, I must answer this any how. I would CAREFULLY put out the cig without crushing the snail. Too me, no matter how pathetic or useless a creature appears to be, I feel ALL life is precious.(You only feel this way if you or someone you know has been around death, at least that is the case for me)

If I smoked, which I don't, I wouldn't throw it on the ground. But if I did, and I crushed it with my foot, I would probably have crushed the beetle or snail too...I have a size 10 shoe!
