It's 5:15 right now and I leave at 5:45 to start a 12 hour shift to Blitz out yet another Wal-Mart that can't cut it...Do you think I'll be happy today?...Do you think I'll fall asleep? It is a 2 hour drive there and 2 hours back.

My answer to your question is with another question - why can't the store cut it? If you can start to look for trends, identify patterns and then stop them occuring before they do get into the position of needing you to charge in on your white horse you will be far more valuable to the company rather than rushing around putting band aids on every problem.

So to answer your question - yes you will be happy if you like to be the one seen as 'saving' the day (something you can addicted to by the way) but you will get burnt out or you can create your own happiness and value to the company by using your head and not simply burning hours charging from one issue to the next.

Good luck.

Maybe you should call in, or at least call and say you will be in late. Then set the alarm and go back to bed for about an hour or so. It's not safe to drive on limited amounts of sleep like that. Not safe for you and the other people out driving.

Until hour 2 you will be okay. then it will drag until lunch. At lunch you will be ok. 5 minutes after lunch it will feel like you were drugged. the rest of the day will crawl by, and just when you cant take another second it will be over. Then you will walk out catch your second wind and head off for better things.

Walmart can survive another day....get some sleep...best place is inside the clothes rack in woman's wear. Better yet, try on a pair of jeans and stay in there for a couple of winks. Don't drink coffee.

Assuming this modification right into a run-of-the-mill divorce and neither moms and dads were loopy. you've received in some parts, you lost in others. You lost a plausible life spouse, your toddler has lost each day interactions and rearing through 2 moms and dads. there is not any winner in divorce. mixed emotions, elation, and melancholy are conventional.

Stay at home and get some sleep. You are risking your life and everyone else`s if you happen to fall asleep at the wheel.
