I am 39 weeks pregnant and I am sooo tired of people asking me about my baby! "when you going to have that baby?" "aren't you overdue?" "it's a boy right?!?" People in my apartment complex telling me that I need to have the baby so they can see it. *cuz I'm totally worried about the crackhead lady across the hall being able to see the baby!* Strangers, family, friends, EVERYONE.. My phone rings like twenty times a day with "have you had her yet?" phone calls.. How do I deal with people? I am due in four days and exhausted with being pregnant and exhausted with having to answer people's questions..
Should I just hide in my apartment and not answer my phone until after I have had the baby?
Anyone else feel like shooting people when they were at this stage of pregnancy?

Yes I did, I totally know how you feel ,I had one lady practical abuse me for going shopping after my due date ,like I was going to drop the baby in her shop!! plus that stupid question ,haven't you had it yet? like well if I had I wouldn't be standing here would I...you will soon be over it and then you will love showing off your baby ,maybe not the the crackhead.LOL .I would take the phone off for an hour or so a day so you can rest but tell your family you are doing it or they might end up on your door step.

Sounds like you have a lot of interested people around you, and hopefully they'll turn into caring and helpful when the baby does arrive.
You do need time to yourself, select a time of the day; turn off the phone and don't answer the door. Use it to rest and relax while you can. This is not a selfish thing to do, its required for someone at your stage.
Better explain to family & friends before you start doing this.

I do feel bad for you. Yes, people are ridiculous!! They can never put themselves in other peoples shoes. When I would work at a front desk, every day the same hundreds of people would say good morning and good night to me. It's nice when it's a person that you find sexy, but not everyone else every single day!! I just stopped saying hi to people. screw em. hehe Congrats on the baby. Check out my 360 page. :-) bye!

i live on a navy base in japan. what else do we all have to do but get knocked up rite? lol. so litterally on this tiny little base there are about 50 babies a month born. with only like three drs to deliver them. it takes two months to schedule and ultrasound here. ive never been so surrounded by estrogen in my life. people here doent even acknowldge that youre pregnant. they just stare at you like dear God how many fat people are there around here? then you go to the maternity department of the only store on base and they only have extra large in the ugliest ten shirts on the face of this earth. and all of us own them cause we have no other option. so uh yeah my frustration is a bit different than yours. but still its super annoying and i feel your pain. if i were you id leave a message on the answering machine like "if you were calling to see if i had this baby, i was going to reach through the phone and smack you. if you have something else to discuss speak your peace im screaning. " people will probably think its funny and appologise profusely to your answering machine. prop your feet up and grab yourself half of a pineapple and a bowl of melted dark chocolate. enjoy.

lolololol bless you. u sound just like my best friend in the last week of her pregnancy!! I thought she was gonna commit mass murder in the supermarket if one more little old lady touched her bump and predicted a boy (she already knew it was a girl!!) I suggest pull the phone out of the socket, where earmuffs when shopping ore pretend to be deaf or forgein so u can't understand them. at least it will amuse u for a bit!! Best of luck with everything xxxx and thanks for making me giggle!

Hmm!......you are right to be angry or hidden yourself. But you should know that they don't know they are bothering you .They worried of you and like you soonset be released of this nice and valubale load.
Probably you show them your tiredness.I think you should show them your pleasure about your situation by go out for shoping and walking move around,........with smile.
