How do I get 2 different pictures on my dual screen?

I have a 19" W/S and a 17" normal screen hooked up to my computer and when I change the images in the control panel it either distorts one or the other. I presume this is because one is W/S and the other isnt. Is there a way around this or should I use 2 different pictures? if so how do I do it? Many thanks in anticipation of an answer.

right click the imgae and press 'place on my ...' and there should be your 2 moniters, thats how it is on mine

attach them, that is, make them 1 picture. save it, use it.
