You cannot be positive 100% of the time and you will have those days that you feel down.

I try to find something positive in almost everything negative. I smile even when I do not feel like it. I get a lot of comments like, "Boy, you are always smiling". Or they ask me if I always smile. I tell them that even If I do not feel like, it try to. I don't always, but I hope that those days that I am not, that when I smile, it may sink inward.

When you feel like crap about yourself, try finding the good attributes that you do to make others feel good. Give others compliments. It always makes me feel better to put a smile on others. None of us are perfect and we will make mistakes. I apologize and admit what I have done and then go on. You cannot focus on those things. Life goes on and you must too.

I hope you have many good days to outweigh the bad.

Big hug to you.

You work on it. A little mantra might help : "I will be positive" is a basic one; "Today will be great" works. Lots and lots you can make; even "I might not be perfect but I am just as good as anybody else, and honest about it too!" Just make your own. Don't falsify facts because lying to yourself won't make you feel better.
Any time you feel the negativity creeping in, pause a minute and give your head a good old shake, the way a cat or dog would ... shake out those thoughts and get back on track. Never give up and even if you have done something that you regret, let it be and tell yourself that tomorrow is another chance to get back on track.
Get enough fresh air and sunlight; stay away from the news because they choose only depressing stories which will make you feel bad about everything, including yourself. Stay away from negative people and be around people who are sunny, positive, cheerful and have a great sense of humour. Fall in love with Nature and be glad that there is always some to be found still.
Give your advice freely to others and help any living thing.
Remember loved ones' birthdays and bring some happiness into their lives ...buy your granny a bunch of flowers for no reason; cook your mum a meal; be nice to everyone and keep a smile on your face! Train it to be there all the time, because a smile works like a boomerang; it will begin to come back to you.
Phew! The list is endless, but you could start with this!

Maybe a good place to start is figure out why you feel so angry at yourself - believing that you are a loser.

My advice would be to not let this spiral down any further. Make a decision today that the world is a better place with you in it (even if you can't see this yet) and do whatever you would do for a 'best friend'.

When I felt in a similar way I went to see a counsellor, which helped tremendously and gave me the foundation to build self respect and self esteem.

Let us know how you get on - you are not on your own ;-)

Don't think anyone is positive all the time, it's not natural.
All we can hope for is to be content with ouselves most of the time.
I'm sorry you feel so bad but I bet you have more going for you than a lot of others.
Do you live in a house?
Do you eat regularly?
Do you have a good mind?
Are you able bodied?
Try helping someone else with even less than yourself.
Remember only you have the power to change things for yourself,
DO IT.
Don't rely on others for happiness or affirmation.

i dont think it is posible to be 99% positive 24 hours all of us have a low period at some point even if you were on a desert island doing what pleased you most there would come a point in whitch you would feel low but your not a looser every one is different if we were all the same in the world it would be pretty boring chin up when you feel low about yourself just take five minutes out to reflect if your strong willed you can acheive feeling better about yourself i hope you have a really nice day without any negative feelings best wishes hun x

I'm optimistic. I hate to feel sad so I always try to find the rainbow in that silver lining. One way is to remember a really good memory that made you laugh. For me it always brings a smile or a chuckle. I also love to look at the sky (day or night) because it gives a sense of impermanence. Of the past or present or future. Give it a shot (^.~)

Think of good things that came to your life. Always forget the past and focus on the present. Imagine yourself as a person with lots of blessings received. Try your best to keep busy, schedule your task for the day, make your life organized by making plans on what to do. Think failure as only challenges and think of it as a way where in you mature as a person.Think of happy moments and the relatives and friends around you that they are always there as you go in the journey of life.

No one can feel happy all the time, but the best way to deal with a bad mood or sad feeling is too accept that it is just a temporary feeling and that it will pass - they then tend to go quicker and you are happier more of the time.

I dont think anyone can be positive all the time.
My advice to you is to keep busy, set yourself small goals to achieve, then bigger ones,
the sense of achievement should help lift your mood.
Also get out of the house, do some exercise and put a smile on your face even if you dont feel like smiling.
