Well, that's because the couple have no knowledge of each other yet. THEIR emotions towards each other at the time is still shy. It's also difficult because on first dates, we tend to react different than we are because of our hormones!

Cause we know nothing about dates and what we do during dates till we experience it..even though we have read abt it in books or watch in movies..it's totally different when it comes to real life

Because teens tend to expect too much. Girls expect too much romance. Boys expect too much sex. If they just date to have great fun it'll be less of a problem.
