my girl lost her period.... again when is menopause usually in effect?

my mother started in her 30's. this is not normal. when she had a cyst removed from ovary they nicked it and that sent her into early menopause. SEE A DOCTOR. there may be more to this than meets the eye. she could have cysts or something else that is causing this. better to be safe than sorry. good luck!

It can start in the middle or late 40s, usually starting with hot flashes and then irregular periods.

I believe their is a blood test to tell you how far along you are.
