The night before conception? No. However, its often very hard to predict when you conceive exactly, and the first few weeks of development are critical, so its generally a very good idea to avoid drinking if you are trying to get pregnant. Futhermore, alcohol can have harmful effects on development throughout gestation (not just the first weeks); while some doctors will say a drink is okay, I wouldn't risk it.

it is within the first few weeks and months that a cell is dividing and becoming an embryo and then a fetus trying to develop organs that having alcohol in your system is most bad..
but.. hey.. FAS (fetal alcohol syndrome; what children get when their moms cant put the bottle down) does provide a good bit of jobs for special ed teachers..
if you drink, do drugs, are in an abusive relationship, or can barely afford your family now you shouldnt have kids. i dont know why this is so hard for people to understand.. *grumbles*

No, i got pregnant last year went out on 2 benders before i realised i was pregnant and my little boy was born perfectly fine. so dont worry about it being bad, it is only bad if u abuse alcohol whilst u are pregnant having it every day. But while saying that it is still ok to have a drink

well if for a guy, if you have alcohol in your system WHILE conveving a baby, it does make it hard for him to get it up, and keep it up.

No its not. But drinking while pregnant is bad of course. Dont worry.

doubt it because when i fell pregnant i didn't know i was pregnant and i was drinking heaps taking anti biotics and the night before i took my pregnancy test i got really drunk and my baby was fine.

yea I heard that causes down syndrome....just don't have sex after drinking that causes birth defects, because a guys sperm is alot of the vitamin for your baby...
