No! No! No!

Gone with the Wind could never, ever be replicated since you could never find another Scarlett or Rhett even close to the first two. Vivian Leigh and Clark Gable... let alone the rest of the cast... were perfect for their roles. Anyone else who even attempted to portray them would slaughter their characters and the movie. Also, the time period would not be portrayed in the same light with today's technology... I loved the old graphics which definitely enhanced the picture. Therefore, I think that a remake would be an insult to a perfect classic that was way beyond its time.

I couldn't bear it. Even thought they missed a lot from the book I think they could never recreate the epic romance in that original film. Not only that be to recreate the innocents of the Southern gentry would never come across in film now.

I thought the word "gone" has a sort of finality to it.

Next thing you know, they'll have someone trying to write a sequel to the book by Margaret Mitchell.

no kids now could not sit that length of time to watch it and the film is so good you cant leave any of it out
