What I do when I pick a flower is make sure that I pull all the coloured "petal's" off first.

Go outside and walk to your neighbors yard and just pick out the best flower..lol

um.. well that's a tough one..

let's see... well you need a chainsaw.. a couple of drills.. a mallet.. a sledgehammer.. a pair of vicious bulldogs in case the flower attacks.. first aid..

when you have it all ready.. put your hand forward and pick it using two fingers SIMULTANEOUSLY

pick flowers with delicate fingers. hold the stalk and pluck it with little force without hurting the petals

pull as close to ground (roots) as possible as not to disturb mother plant so that said flower root will continue to blossom. once plucked, place in vase with water immediately and enjoy.
