The normal medicine you get at the hospital will not be able to fix all this without taking out his liver and every cancer cell in his body ... and they cannot find them all so therefore they cannot cure him.

They are using chemotherapy to give a broad spread of toxins to the cancer cells wherever they may be. If they are successful with this, they may well induce a "remission" - a period of time when he is free of the cancer until such time as it "recurs".

If the cancer is in certain places they may be able to operate and take it out (liver is not one of those places)

They may be able to use radiotherapy (x-rays radiation) to kill the cancer cells, but this is a bit like surgery - only certain spots they can use it for.

To find other options you are going outside normal medicine and I am reluctant to advise you here.

There are a whole bunch of snake oil merchants out there claiming to be able to cure cancer. I suggest you carefully analyse whatever offers they make because the stakes are high.

If you want to use alternative therapies, go for it. Do not listen to the ones who say they don't work. You can bet they've got their hand in the pharmaceutical industry and are making a buck from it somehwere. Definitely check out the Essiac Tea informamtion. I would also strongly consider homeopathy.

Nobody can keep anybody alive one minute past their expiration date. That's up to the Creator. All we can do is help make their time here as comfortable and happy as we can, and love them as long as we've got them. I know that these are tough times. I went through them with my Dad. I wish you well.

There are some excellent supplements available, he needs a very powerful anti-oxidant, which will reduce the after-effects of chemo. I have some testimonies I can share with you if you would like to contact me.
You need on-going support with this, which we can offer.
Hope to speak soon.

Your dad is already getting the best treatment available. IF any of these other "treatments" actually worked, they'd be glad to use them. (But they don't!)
There is a LOT of quackery and bullsh!t therapy out there when it comes to cancer. Do not try ANYTHING without clearing it with the doctors!

Love him to death. Learn. Read that book - ''Tuesdays with Mori'' - it comes to us all, one day and death is one of life's greatest lessons. I'll pray for you and him, and hope it helps.
