there is nothing wrong with that as long as you keep what you do outside of work, outside of work and don't allow your outside relationship to mess with your work relationship.

It merely follows the natural course of relationships. You spend most of your waking time at work. However, the quality of your relationship with work mates or colleagues depends greatly on how "personal" is defined by you.
