not the most popular or most famous horror movie...but a movie that is actually scary. I just watched 28 days later, it was bullcrap. Nothing in it made it a horror movie, it bored me more than scared me.

I loved watching The Grudge. That to me is the scariest movie I've ever seen. My brother-in-law saw it and couldn't go to sleep for two days because he kept seeing the boy every where in the dark of night. It was pretty funny. I can't wait till "The Grudge 2" comes out later this year.

Two classic (1950/60) B&W movies get me every time, "THEM!" and "The Crawling Hand".
"THEM!" has better quality actors & writers, and they're both more about suspense than blood & gore. But there's something about the SOUNDS in those two that give me the willies just thinking about them. Both the music & the sounds the "creatures" make are spine-chilling.
If you haven't seen at least one of these, you can't count yourself a true Horror fan; )

Ringu scared me at times but I don't have a scary movie. Most films nowadays don't scare me. I thought Hostel and The Hills Have Eyes (2006) were pretty gruesome.

Don't Look Now by Nic Roeg- the ending scared the sh*it out of me. First saw it on in a lecture theatre, at the back on my own, and I grabbed the desk in front of me after some kind of weird panic attack... i didn't know where i was for a split second, the image had filled my mind...

Now one of my fave flicks...

The Exorcist made me keep the lights on in my room for a long, long time at night, and I've never eaten pea soup since! It was too real to just let it go when I walked out.

I guess I'd have to say "IT" because clowns are freaky and I hate any scenes in the shower. And when scary movies have kids it makes you think of when you were a child and what REALLY scared you.

"Race With The Devil" (1975)
Peter Fonda, Loretta Swit, Warren Oats.
Tagline: If you're going to race with the devil, you've got to be as fast as Hell!
I find anything with the devil in it terrifying.
"Rosemary's Baby", scary as.
Good vampire films freak me too.
