it did not hurt, they can rub a gel on that cuts down on the painor you can get one from your drug store, Wal Mart has it. look on the tooth paste row. like they use on a babys gum, but get the adult one oral gel. try it

To have it done I thought it was about a 4. Not to bad at all, but the healing process takes time, about 4 months and the first 2 weeks it was uncomfortable sometimes, if a belt or similar rubbed against it.
Remember to clean it at least twice a day to start with, and if you want to have it done don't let the fear of pain stop you it really don't hurt that much and it is over in a minute.

I put numbing gel on the area and I still rate the pain a 9. However I am of a small build and not much excess flab for the piercer to clamp. I could feel it going through every layer of skin. Ouch. My friend got hers after me and she passed out. We must have had a dodgy piercer as it took 4 months and a lot of tea tree oil for it to heal.

I have had mine done twice. It really doesn't hurt when they pierce it.
I tend to get myself so worked up before having it done that I am just scared. But it is about a 3 while they are doing it. It happens VERY fast.
You can do it! Go for it!

I don't have a navel piercing, but I do hope you realize that the pain is only a part of it.
You risk death from even a small infection, as it can invade the abdomen.
Don't do it!

3- I didn't think getting it pierced was that bad, it only lasts for a second. It was a little sore afterwards, but nothing I couldn't tolerate.

my daughter had hers done and she said it didn't really hurt at all.
