Neither. First of all, anyone that did either of these things could not possibly be a "true love". Second of all, you have to respect and love yourself in order to give love and respect to someone. Anyone that would put up with either of these actions, should not be in a relationship until they learn to respect themselves a bit more.

If your "true love" slapped you then it would be something you would need to forgive and they would likely be sorry and willing to work with you so that it never happened again.

If your "true love" cheated on you then you would likely question the how "true" this "love" was. A physical relationship is intimate between a man and woman that love each other. That would be harder if not impossible to forgive.

I would forgive a slap before a cheat, since I probably deserved the slap.

Neither of course...but if the slap was somewhat justified due to whatever's reason , i'de consider forgiving him. But only after he truly convinced me tht he won't do it ever again as i personally believe tht violence doesn't resolve anything. Once MAYBE il forgive the slap, but more thn tht n im out of the door!

I'd probably be more willing to forgive a slap, because if he hit me we'd be brawling! And after kicking the stuffing out of one another, we might actually feel better.

The slap- it would probablly hurt less. Not really WILLING to forgive it but only cause you gave the choice..!

I would be more willing to forgive the cheat because that's on them to be faithful and it typically underlies complex needs not being met in the relationship. But to inflict physical harm and violence is intolerable in any relationship because violence is NOT love, EVER.

Gosh!

You gave me to choose between only two things I am not capable to forgive.

Huh.
Hmmm.
Slap - because, knowing myself I probably pushed too hard and might deserve that slap, which is not reason to get it anyway.

NEITHER !! both are unacceptable in any relationship and anyone with any self respect wouldn't tolerate that kind of behavior.
