it was made maybe in the early 90's. it was about a guy who gets shrunk to the size of these fairy things, they are trying to save their forest. theres a bat who flies into trees a lot.... um and the guy is blond haired and falls in love with the fairy. there was also a 2nd film made. Fern Gully. I remember that one too. I think it was a weak attempt at environmentalism. There seems to be a rash of those out now. Mostly Disney-like crap....
