They just managed to get above 5%. With only 30% of the people bothering to vote, they will probably have about 7% of votes.
Most of their voters want to register their protest against the (un)social policies of the present "grand " coalition, and don't like to vote PDS(former communists).
No need to be scared at all, although they are the most disgusting crowd of thugs you're ever likely to meet.

East Germany no longer exists, by the way. It doesn't surprise me at all, we had a strong KKK just 40+ years ago, even after WWII. We have a similar hate-mongering faction here in the US, it is the far right Republican, christian coalition and anyone who likes FOX news----these hate mongerers are destroying the foundations of our nation, and yet there is no great outcry. Maybe when they start rounding up first the arab-americans, then the african-americans who may look slightly arab, people will realize we have some real nuts in power in Washington.

the dilemma is: if you make them illegal, they are much more difficult to control...
In Germany the "Verfassungsschutz" (MI5 or so) are basically running the NPD, the most prominent right wingers party and thus control damage. What scares me more are hicks like the "Skinheads Saechsische Schweiz" or SSS: those are people who like the KKK wouldn't mind lynching foreigners and have already committed crimes. They try to create "auslaenderfreie Zonen" or areas free from foreigners. Too bad for the young tourism industry there...
"Saechsische Schweiz" is a beautiful part of Germany, next to Dresden

The Nazis these days seem more focused on purifying their own countries rather than taking over others. I think it would be a worry for Germany but not the rest of the world if they gained any sort of control.

The Nazi`s, by the way, invented a heck of a lot of stuff, or should that be German scientist`s invented.............
Good thing is, they had a **** as a leader, otherwise............
My advice is, Stick close to Vera Lynn (WW2 English singer)
and if you ever hear her Gargling, you know war is imminent

No I'm not scared at all. I don't think the germans will try to do what hitler tried to do and take over the world. Not with todays fire power and governments. They would never succeed.

I wonder how well they are doing, or whether they are merely adept at getting publicity. Then I wonder how much more than that Hitler and his gang had in the early days, and THEN I get scared!
Let reason prevail. Let sanity prevail. And let JUSTICE prevail.
