Umm...Outlook Express is free.
Outlook costs money.
They are pretty much the same for the normal user.
Yep...Thunderbird is what I would choose. And at a very good price.

Outlook Express 6 as most user friendly. MS Outlook have more features than OE6 but its hard to understand.

Outlook is the full version of Outlook which is part of Office - a commercial product costing money.
Outlook Express is a free cut down version of Outlook which is supplied with the operating system (Windows XP). There are many things you can do with Outlook that you can't do with Outlook Express.

I suggest you open your e-mail account with Yahoo!
Of the 2 Outlooks, Outlook itself is the best as it can recognise your servers better than OE6, which is temperamental toward certain Internet servers. (that's why I disabled my OE6 as it did just that)
