I myself have seen the iraqi police in action ... the iraqi police force over here makes the police in america look like angels ... NOT because everyone over here is bad and they dont care about there country ... its not all about that ... the iraqi police is so corrupt and infiltrated with militia's such as the al mahadi and the wahabi sects ... there the ones .. specially in baghdad that control everything in the police force ... there is no way to tell the difference ...the american soldiers have no way of telling the difference of these people they look alike ... dress alike .. hell smell alike .. ive had my doubts about some ... but its not my place to say anything i just watch my back around them thats all i can to i have no power in getting these people out of the police force its the iraqi government that has to step up against the al mahadi and wahabi sects.... until then until they decide that there not gonna be bullied by those sects and stand up with coalition forces behind them ... then and only then will the police force only hope to come close to the corruption that the US police force is at ... in comparison the United States police force look like angels compared to the IPF's .... its not that these people dont want to be quote " purified" its that the iraqi people are scared to death of the police force and if someone finds out that there giving informationto the americans the iraqi forces and the sects around there area are going to kill them... to many times this has happend and theres no way for us to protect them cause the other people around that saw it in no way shape or form will let us know what is going on in fear of being killed .... all these things combine just for a ****** situation ... later ...

I think that the Iraqi police are the same as police anywhere: Some are honest, some are not.
The Iraqis do want peace and freedom...but they're afraid to fight for it.

Let's hope so! There is so little corruption in the police force here in the US, Iraq would be lucky to have such an end result.

There is corruption everywhere. The U.S tends to give out a more "Civilize" way of handling crime. Iraq, well, I guess they don't have a strong policing organization
