Hello. My Yahoo account was recently hacked and the hacker changed my birthdate and other such info that I would need to request a new password to prevent me from doing so. This WAS less then 6 months ago so it has not been deleted by Yahoo yet. Is there anyway I can unlock my account in a different way or contact Yahoo about this problem? I have tried Customer Care and I did not get any valuable information. Can someone please help me? I really need this account back because it contained some information that was oriented with my job.

yahoo may allow you to use two accounts. Use the new one as default instead of the first.
It is not necessary to use or to delete the first.
