yoga is GREAT for increasing flexability

well actually yoga and stretching can help some but its more like you either are flexible or not flexible. if you wanna break dance you really need to work on arm strength cuz thats all it is... and take it from me i'm a girl and girls have to work twice as hard to get there arm strength up....so yea good luck and don't give up

If you're wanting flexibility for power moves (which is what most bboys/bgirls want), try sitting with your butt up against a wall and your legs open. Let gravity pull your legs more and more open. Hurts like hell but it helps. Do that every day, and you'll see improvement :-). The more you stretch (correctly), the more improvement you will see.

stretch when you're warm. for example go out for a run and stretch your legs when you get back.

if you do stretches everyday then you can eventually do the splits
so just do stretches...but give it some time

stretching and yoga. do passive stretching. don't do active or ballistic stretching
