In testing my theory below, I think I found the question -- what was your answer to "Ice keeps your drink cool because melting ice?" It appears that 2 of the 5 answers were removed, and yours is one of them.
(The answer gets deleted if the someone reports it... go to the "My Answers" tab in your profile area and see if you can tell which one is missing (depends on if you answer a lot of questions this may be harder to remember what all you have answered) . Click on the question to see if your answer is still there.)

The violation should have come in your email. It will explain the question and the answer that was reported. Email yahoo answers back and protest the violation report, and add you do not expect to receive any more emails pertaining to violations as typed in rebuttal you send back to them. Add that with the amount of abuse that is allowed, you find their violation emails annoying and insulting.

Don't worry. Some people are so inept at communication that all they can do is squeal, insult, or bug you.

Anyone who would squeal in a forum like this is not worth thinking about. They are the same that support censorship, and other forms of social oppression. Speak out!

You've been doing this since January and this is your first violation? Lucky you. It will happen all the time if someone doesn't like they way you answer a question. Just ignore it and move on.

You get violated by the answerers themselves, for any reason they feel like violating you! PMS, itchy balls, WHO KNOWS! And the question gets deleted when you are violated! You get a chance to protest, but it doesn' mean anything, because their is really nobody running Yahoo. Haven't you figured that out yet? It's just a bunch of YAYHOOS!
