I've asked a few questions about my situation already.
My period in July was on the 5th. My last period was on August 2nd. I had light spotting around the 24th or the 27th. It lasted for maybe two days. I still have not started. I have had several negative tests. I am taking a blood test on Tuesday. How long does it take to get results? Has anyone had a similar experience? How did it turn out?

If you are going to take a test on Tuesday, it depends on how they do the test as to when you get the results. If you ask your doctor to do the test STAT, you should have your test back within hours. If they do it "routine" it might take a day or so to come back. I am not sure about your entire history regarding this, but if you have been under any sort of stress or have had any illness recently, sometimes that can cause your periods to be a bit irregular. It may be that your next period may turn out to be a bit heavier than normal because you had a light spotting this last time. If you are truly pregnant and your last real period was August 2nd, I would think a home pregnancy test would show positive by now because you're a couple of weeks late. If they're showing negative, it might be that you're just irregular for some reason, and no worries. Good luck on Tuesday...

Who knows you might be pregnant. I was in a similar situation. I had taken four pregnancy test throughout a two month period and they all came out negative. At the end of the two months I took one more and it came out positive. It's best to go to the doctor they will give you your results the same day.

They usually, and honestly, use a preganacy test that is comparible to those that you can obtain over the counter at a drug store before the blood test for pregancy. A blood test takes about a week (sometimes less...depends on the lab), but with the urine tests they know immediately. The urine tests are fairly accurate.

I have had a blood test before and it only took a few minutes. You will find out before you even leave the doctor's office. This has happened to me before and I really don't think your pregnant.

It takes about thirty min to get the results. That's how I found out I was pregnant.
