It doesnt matter about your height but me for 14 years old im 6'3 and a half 162 pounds and i play the 1/2/3/4 postions. Your going to grow but it takes time..

Height isn't really the issue so much as talent. There have been NBA players just over 5' tall. Work to improve your skills, and let the height factor work itself out.

Plenty tall. Guards tend to run a little on the short-side anyways...its makes them better ball handlers. Besides you're only 16, you've got some growing to do yet. If your skill level and work ethics are good, you've got nothing to worry about.

Yes, you are tall enough to play guard in high school, college, and the NBA. Tyrone "Muggsy" Bogues was 5'3" tall as a pro player while "Spud" Webb was only 5'7"(and he won the NBA dunk contest as pro). Just remember - it's not the size of the dog in any fight; it's the size of the fight in the dog.

im 5'7 1/2. i play basketball all the time. school teams and in-house league teams. and im a point guard. im 16 so i may still be growing. but to answer your question u dont have to be tall in order to play guard. just good!

I take it you're male? while you're, it relatively is tall yet ordinary. while you're a woman it relatively is actual tall. There are averages for each united states of america yet there is not any ordinary top. i'm 18 and 5'5

well height and age dont really come into play as much as talent and ability. if you are good enough that your skill covers up for height than you should be fine.

no- you need to be over 6 ft, if you want to be a threat.. but if youdont have skills, it wont matter how tall you are.
