Weird plot, irrelevant scenes, soft-core porn, and open ending. I usually don't watch these types of movies, but my friend wanted to see it.

This movie not only showed but supported cheating, divorce, deceitfulness and lying. IT made it appear that the average American family is shallow and meaningless. If this is what Americans are all about, how can we expect to have any respect from other nationalities especially people who are our enemies. Half of the world is against America as it is, how can our soldiers have respectable authority in over seas countries when we make movies supporting immoral lifestyles. This movie is a disrespect to good loyal families who are trying to live a respectable lifestyle, You could not pay me to see this movie again! This is not a religious comment or a political comment in any way. I am just a concerned American sick of seeing us degrade ourselves on film for entertainment!!

but I was afraid it would be just some pretentious whiny little movie about nothing...guess I was right? lol

i saw it tonight actually (along with the black dahlia). this movie touched my heart and showed me a piece of what life and love is really about. i recommend this movie along with garden state (braff's other flick). hope this helped
