Reagan was good for rich people..just like all republican presidents are.They are controlled by corporate interest that could careless about individual rights or environmental laws.And will engage in wars and subterfuge to make money no matter who has to die.

Depends on what people you are talking about. Reagan's trickle down economics did not trickle much past the rich, and definitely never made it to the lower rungs of the economic ladder. So if you were rich when Reagan came to office, then you got richer. But if you were unlucky enough to be a member of the middle class or lower, then you definitely suffered under Reagan. Regardless, because of Reagan's economic policies, we all suffered during the recession of the early 1990s.
But Reagan loved the news media and the media loved Reagan. He really knew how to play to the media, and brought the presidency into the TV era.

Reagan's fiscal policy built an economy so strong that it long outlasted his time in office. It took spendaholic Bill Clinton almost his entire administration to start running into the ground.
Reagan's foreign policy topled the USSR and help tear down the Berlin wall. Just the threat of him taking power caused the hostages in Iran to be freed.
I'd say he was good for the people.

Reagan was an excellent motivation speaker.. that is ALL.
He was declared lame duck in 1984, his trickle down economics broke the deficit record and he ended his presidency in a recession.

He was a war criminal, involved in Iran /Contra, selling arms to our enemy! Had his chance to go after Hezbollah after the Marine barracks in Beirut was bombed by them, but did nothing but withdraw the troops!
He wanted to cut all social services programs! He gave tax cuts to the rich!

He may be classed as a "B" actor & I sure enjoyed his movies! However, he was the best US President I've seen in my lifetime! And I'm almost over the Hill
