I love Loreal Voluminous. It works extremely well. You need to use a dark shade. First apply a thin layer. Let it dry for a few moments, then reapply. Reapply a few more times while still wet until it looks right to you. Another mascara I like is I believe called Lash in a Tube by Physician's Formula. You should also use a little eyeliner on your lower lid. Not your top because then you won't be able to see the definition of your separation of lashes. Also don't put mascara on your bottom lashes because it will smudge. Trust me you don't need it (the eyeliner will work far better). Good luck!

Are you curling your eyelashes? You might just be looking at your lashes from the wrong angle. You might want to use fake eyelashes. For darkness you can buy a lash and brow dye kit for around $30. The kit will last you forever, so you'll be able to reapply when needed. For blonds and red heads it can make the so much visible and you may not even need mascara. The dye is like semi permanent makeup so it's there from the time you get up and even when you are in a pool.

If ur looking for inexpensive ones, Maybelline Volume Express(Turbo Boost), Maybelline XXL or Loreal Lash Extend are good. Diorshow Mascara is really good, but alittle expensive. It's about $22- $25 dollars.
I tried many different mascaras but those are the best so far, trust me i have very short lashes too!

Dior carries a great line of mascara. It's called Dior Show. It lengthen, gives volume and brighten up your eyes immediately. It's cost $24 at Sephora. I have the same probs as you too. I've tried so many brand and never find what I want until Dior. Another one I recommend is Loreal Voluminous....for some reason this works the best.... If you want to open up your eyes you need to use an eye liner to draw it bigger, mascara can't do all the work.

Here are some simple steps to get long, lush lashes:
1. curl lashes with a METAL curler
2. use Waterproof Lash Exact by CoverGirl (pinkish/purple tube)
3. let it dry
4. curl lashes again
5. comb lashes with lash comb because curling lashes after mascara will cause a little clumping

if ur lashes r short then curling them won't help u that much. get a pair of false eyelashes. they'll give u length and volume. put them as close to ur lash line as possible and that won't look fake. then apply a single coat of mascara. nd then u will have sexy lashes like hollywood stars.

Try Mary Kay ultimate mascara in black. It is wonderful. Also when you are applying you foundation, with your sponge gently swipe your sponge with very little foundation on it over your lashes!

well, did you know that hair and eyelashes are all part of your waste from food?? The more calories you eat, the longer your hair and eyelashes will get!! If not, use fake ones or contact a proffesional.
