AW MA GAWD! You shouldn't worry, 5'6" is fine, you can get all the petite women! I work in a "sports bar" and the "shorter" guys I work with don't seem to have any issues. I'm only 5'3", but it seems to me that if you work on your confidence and have a great personality, that you shouldn't worry. I see a lot of different personalities working in the bar atmosphere, (trust me), but I'll tell you, you can't judge a man by his height! Just be a decent human being, and have a sense of humor!!! cuz guys that make women laugh are soooo sexy!!

Nah.
Depends where you live, too. I'm 5'6 and I used to live in the U.S. I felt a little undersized sometimes, especially when a bunch of 6 feet tall guys would walk by on the street (although they didn't kick sand in my face, hehe)
5 years ago I moved to Quebec. What a difference. You hardly ever see guys over 5'10. French girls are almost all petite and gorgeous. I feel totally adequate size-wise here, even taller than the norm.
Also I think in Asian countries people tend to be shorter in general. But the food is better here.

Well, sounds cute. But that is kind of short for a 22 year old man, I think the average is like 5'8. On the bright side, you dont have have an old masculine face, that will make it even weirder. Your features and height give you a great chance to date short/petite girls. Most girls are self concious between her and her boyfriend's height and go through the trouble of wearing heels everyday so they arent dwarfed by comparasion.

a pic would help but if ur avatar is anything to go by, well... then i'd say ur just on the cute side of tall. That's all. ur not a midget n there r petit women out there if ur concerned about the size diff. BUT, if u have other 'attributes' which r anything but cute (for example, if one of ur nicknames is 'tripod') or ur really romantic n know how to treat a girl then u'll be considered a complete package not just a short guy. Good luck, hope u find her.....

You are not a "freakin' midget". I have noticed plenty of men (and young men) who are probably in the 5'6"-5'8" range that I think are just fine. I'm 5'5". My sister is about 5'8" and married to a man who is 5'5"-5'6". Great guy. Height doesn't matter.
In a nutshell, there are plenty of guys out there your height. Besides, they say good things come in small packages, right?
Don't loose any sleep over it! (wink)

I had the same problem few years back when i was 17 now im 19 and im 5'8 but couple of months ago i was 5'3. i was so worried about it everyday and just couldnt stop thinkin about how short i was but then i just said to myself i gotta deal with it and continue so thats when i started getting taller lol
now my only problem is gaining weight since i dont eat much
so i would say there are options and pills but i wouldnt take them just deal with it and let ur body do what it can do.

Well if your family is slightly on the shorter side you can't really expect miracles :) However there are plenty of girls your height or shorter so it doesn't have to be such a problem. Sure you'll never be a professional basketball player, but hey there are so many things that each one of us will never be!
I'm a girl and 5'7" myself and i like taller guys, but i have plenty of friends who wouldnt mind a guy a little shorter then themselves. Being short doesn't have to be so terrible

If the circus didn't try to sign you up, you must not be a freakin midget. OK?
It's all about your attitude, not your height.

My hubby is 5'6" and I'm 5'9". :o) I tease him lightly now and then about being a shorty, but it's all in good humor and he's cool with it. It seemed a little odd at first, but now I'm completely used to it. It's the chemistry that counts if it's a good relationship.

I think you're fine. There are some guys your size who play guard on basketball teams, and also play certain positions in football. You also might want to learn a martial art.
