How do you let someone you love go, after they breakup with you, and yet genuinely show them you still care about them, but just want whatever is best for you both? How do you mature to this point if you haven't been very mature you're whole life?

Just so you guys know. I haven't stalked anyone ever. I did write too many letters to my ex, but that's over now, and was only part of the grieving process, the BARGAINING stage. Read your psych book. Now I am just trying to become unattached to her, and learn to move on, see. Yet I care about her in my heart, and wish I knew of a way to show her without interfering with her life. Dilemna!

ah the wonders of a broken heart...
all i can tell ya kiddo is that you live and you learn. You are mature for asking this question and wanting to want what is best for the both of you. Just remember there are others out there and this time shall pass. You can show them that you care about them by being there for them when they need you most.
Good luck and keep your head up - you are doing and asking the right things... just let them go.

For a start you're asking the right questions. You sound mature and knowing what you want is apparent. Try not to go to the same places to see that person if you mean it. Find other interests to make yourself busy. Time is a healer and only you can work on that. If that person is for you, things will work out, you never know what the future holds. Good luck.

I just went through this very same problem my gf left me and it was very hard for me to let go. But, as time passed i slowly felt a little about myself. Just remember something the great Fonse from happy days said "at first sure the pain is greater then you but each day that passes the pain gets a little less until 1 day you will be greater then the pain." remember that has always helped me maybe it will help you too.

Time heals all wounds! Send a card or a call just to see how there doing (not to often) this will show then you still care. If it is meant to be it will work out and if not, time will bring someone special again. Hang in there-it will be ok I promise!

You belong in prison. You're a wrongly developed young male, and just like your gibbon counterparts, you are violent, aggressive, and show stalker tendencies. There is no help or hope for people like you, and society shouldn't waste its resources trying to rehabilitate fatherless children who grow up to be social monsters.

And by the way, you will get over your ex when and if you find a new girl. That's all it takes. Until then, you will obsess.

If they want to go, let them go, if it is to be, it will be. You can only trip if you're looking backward. Hold your head up high and press forward.
