When I read your question, i started to think and seeing the gang's faces run by I thought hey, maybe -so I had to look it up.

In the latter it mentions that Robert Blake is rumored to be Spanky but was not and in the first cite I gave you, it tells readers that Spanky was George "Spanky" McFarland. This one just tickles my funnybone because it seems so believable that it would have been Blake. As I look back at the pictures in my mind of Spanky and compare them to the adult, it seems likely, only thing is that it was not him. It was a believable roomer tho, thanks for introducing me to it and getting me wondering!

Spanky is Spanky McFarland. Robert Blake is Mickey.

No, that was George McFarland. Robert Blake played Mickey from about 1939 thru 1943. He was the cute kid with the hat and usually a turtle neck sweater.

Robert Blake was on the Little Rascals, but he didn't play Spanky. I think his name was Mickey. I don't think he was on every episode. He was cute...back then.
