Yes, my college roommate was from Ball Mer.
Here's a great web site with examples of the Ball Mer accent. Enjoy!

I had a friend years ago who was from Baltimore, but I can not say that I remember anything that reminded me of a regional accent, not that I would really know. I can still very clearly picture her very interesting voice in mind after 16 or 17 years, but only as I would most other people's voices. My friend, Fred, on the other hand, from Boston, had a distinct Boston sound.

Smh...why does each and every black accessory try to bypass itself off as a "toned down version of long island" We already have been given Detroit doin it now Baltimore? Ta me, a born noo yawka, a Bawltimoa accessory soun' alot moa united states of america den da noo yawk accessory. Naw guy, ya accessory is Baltimore. Its unique, and not a toned down version of a protracted island accessory. the only accessory that i will say sound even close to to a protracted island accessory is a Philly accessory. hear to Cassidy & Beanie Seigel, they sound very almost like New Yorkers

yeah, accents are weird.
when i went out west, everyone kept getting my name wrong because the accent in california is different from the accent where i live, so people misunderstood me a lot! it's weird and frustrating being the different one!

Has someone been watching the new season of The Wire? The accent is way more pronounced this year.
