Yes, I did quite a few years ago. It was really a neat experience. It was really tight quarters with that tiny winding stairway. Once you got to the top it was so worth it.

I know you can't go anymore because of terrorist, but if they want to blow it up, you're probably going to get blown up at the bottom of it also.

I read that at one point, you actually got to go in the torch. That was just for a few years after we got it. That I'm sure would've been awesome. It didn't take long for them to believe that it was too dangerous to go there also.

I'm really surprised that wasn't one of their targets on 9/11. I hope one day they will open it up again, because it just wouldn't be the same going back and not being able to go to the top and look out. I'm glad that I was able to take my kids and that we will always have pictures and memories.
